Reconnect with your body and the natural world on this gently guided morning trek through the biodiverse forests of the Western Ghats. The trail leads to hidden cascading waterfalls nestled deep within the rainforest — a reward of cool mist and pure mountain water after a mindful walk through ancient trees and birdsong.
This package is designed as a therapeutic complement to Ayurvedic healing. The combination of fresh forest air (known in Ayurveda as Vayu therapy), mild physical activity, and the sound of flowing water creates a profoundly rejuvenating experience for mind, body, and spirit.
Early departure for the scenic drive to the Kakkadampoyil forest trailhead (approx. 40 min). Guide briefs the group on safety, flora, and fauna to watch for.
Safety equipment distributed. Gentle warm-up stretches led by guide. Introduction to mindful walking practices from the Ayurvedic tradition.
Begin the gentle, well-marked trail through the Western Ghats rainforest. Spot butterflies, endemic birds, wildflowers, and ancient trees. The guide shares knowledge of medicinal plants along the route.
Arrive at the secluded cascade. Rest in the cool mist. Optional: gentle foot-soaking in the natural rock pool at the waterfall base — deeply therapeutic and refreshing.
Enjoy warm herbal drinks and fresh fruit served amidst nature before the return trail.
Leisurely walk back through the forest, taking a slightly different return path for new sights.
